Locks, controlling operation of; locks, pinkey.-In a lock for closet doors &c., means are provided to prevent the lock bolt from being shot or the key removed from the outside while the closet is occupied. The inside hand-operated bolt c has pivoted thereto a lever d, the end of which is adapted to engage a notch n in the lock bolt a, when this is withdrawn and the bolt c is shot. A pin b in the casing prevents the key m from being turned completely round. In case of emergency, the inside bolt c can be withdrawn from the outside by means of a pin-key g engaging notches in the handle spindle i. A master-key f which may be in one with the pin-key g is provided for the bolt a, a special keyhole being provided so that it can be removed after operating the bolt.
