Rollers or cylinders, h o l l o w. - Condensed moisture is removed from drums used for drying fabrics or paper, by scoops 2 arranged helically or obliquely therein and delivering into an a n n u l u s 4, whence a radial funnel 5 leads to an axial discharge pipe 6. Two or more annuli 4 may he used connected by the scoops 2. The drum is equipped with duplicate collecting - devices. so that discharge t a k e s place in whichever direction the drum rotates.
