Bakers' ovens. - A transportable reel oven comprises a casing a, a furnace g, nests of heating-flues h, and a reel b with twelve or other number of shelves e, the structure being mounted on a wheeled carriage or strapped to the back of a mule. The reel is mounted on an axis x in triangular frames y at the ends of the casing, and is rotated by a hand-wheel and gearing such that each half-rotation of the handle brings the shelves e in turn opposite a charging-opening, through which the tray f containing the baked bread is withdrawn and a spare tray is inserted. The reel may be locked by a collar pressed against it by a screw when not in operation. Openings for observation &c. are provided.
