Abstract

11,189. Lamsens, O. M. May 13. Aerating, gases for. -The gases and other volatile matters evolved from fermenting beer in a cask I are passed through a pipe system 7 and distributed through nozzles 10 into casks II containing fermented still beer. The nozzles 10 are formed of porous or finely - perforated india-rubber, or of clay &c., to divide the gases as they enter the beer.
