11,185. Carmelich, F. W. May 13. Closets, disinfecting. -A strip of metal 1 is bent into the form of a horseshoe - channel and suspended by hooks 5 under the flushing-rim of a closet basin. To allow of the bending, the strip is cut into slits 2 along one edge. Balls of disinfectant are contained in the channel and are moistened each time the basin is flushed.
