7492. Hancock, R. March 29. Shallow-overhung-blade fans; impeller blades. -Centrifugal-fan blades are formed of V-shape, as shown at 8 in the lower half of Fig. 2. The outer edges are equally inclined, but are not at the same angle as the inner edges. A few blades may be formed as shown at 16 in the upper half of the Figure. The blades may be of different depth, and arranged in sets, the inner tips of each set being in echelon.
