5105. Bartholomew, E. Feb. 28. Bed &c. rests.-An arrangement for preventing the slipping-down of the occupant of a bedstead comprises a board 7 on which the feet of the occupant rest connected by telescopically adjustable members 2, 3, 8, and 9 to a base-board 1 having a downward extension 6<a> which is introduced between the end of the mattress and the bedstead frame. The adjustment of the parts is obtained by means of bolts having clamping-nuts engaging slots in the members 2, 3, 8, 9.
