Abstract

4950. Cross, J. W. Feb. 26. Cylinders receiving liquid f u e l .-A fuel nozzle comprises a pair of tubular passages 4 leading from a common fuel supply which are arranged within, the b o d y of a single m e'm ber 2 and terminate in inclined passages 10 so as to cause the jets to impinge on each other. The upper part 1 of the nozzle is cylindrical or prismatic, and is coned at the end 6. A rectangular groove 8 is cut across the top and a saw-cut 12 divides the two passages for adjusting the jets.
