3786. Darby, H. Feb. 14. Sheet-separators; delivery apparatus.-In a machine for trimming the edges of oil-cakes, the cakes 71 are piled on a slotted table 3 against a plate 102 with a slot 103, through which the lowest cake is moved on to the paring-table 2 by fingers 4 mounted in sleeves 75, which are reciprocated through links 72, 74 by a cam 76 mounted on the main shaft 31. The cake, after being trimmed on the table 2, is moved by the feeding of another cake from the table 3 and pushed on to an hydraulic lift 79 by fingers 80 mounted in sleeves 84 reciprocated through levers 82, 83 by a cam 86 on the main shaft 31. Weighted levers 77, 87 control the movement of the fingers 4, 80.
