Mouthpieces; sanitary and hygienic devices.- A telephone m o u t h - piece, or a vessel of any kind, is disinfected by a disk c of disinfectant inserted through a peripheral slot b in the wall a<1> and supported by a thickened portion a<2> of the wall or by a groove b' or a number of projections formed on the wall. The mouthpiece may also have an absorbent lining a<3> impregnated with a disinfectant.
