Catamenial appliances. - A sanitary bandage comprises a sponge c saturated with a disinfectant inserted through a longitudinal opening into a stockinette or like inner cover b which is provided with supporting-rings b' and enclosed within an outer casing a of rubber. The outer casing is formed with a central opening a<1> having its edge a<2> thickened to form a seating. The sponges and inner covers are provided in duplicate for each appliance.
