Fabrics coated successively with adhesives and powdered materials. - A material for balloon fabrics &c. consists of linen coated with metal powder by means of a non-inflammable adhesive known as Syndetikon, and composed of sugar, slaked lime, glue, and water. The uncoated side of the fabric may be saturated with an oily liquid, such as fish oil.
