Abstract
916. Stephens, H. W. Jan. 13. Hatching-appliances.- To moisten the air entering an incubator, an airinlet F in the hot-air chamber C, mounted outside the incubator and containing the lamp flue B, is covered by a screen G of canvas &c., which is kept moist by the projecting end G<1> of the screen dipping into the trough H. Other means of keeping the screen mo'st may be provided, also additional air-inlets provided with lids or valves. The hot moist air enters the incubator by the pipe E.
