Abstract

[Cognate Application, 28,866/12.] Electric oscillations, producing.-A circuit containing a source of current a and an inductance b, with or without a condenser, is intermittently closed by one or more rotating toothed disks e in synchronism with the natural frequency of the aerial circuit. The discharge may be quenched by an air blast or by forming the gaps as rectifiers or as quenched gaps. Several insulated toothed disks may be mounted on the same shaft, and arranged to discharge on to contacts which connect the disks in series. A closed oscillation circuit may be placed between the circuit a, b, e and the aerial, and also between the oscillating circuit described in Specification 4593/07 and the aerial. Specifications 20,119/07 and 18,524/09 are also referred to.
