28,357. Allen, H. O., Allen, R. O., and Allen, J. W. Dec. 9. Clips, band; clips, pivoted-jaw. -A hose clamp comprises semicircular jaws 4, 5 pivoted to a stem 1, on which is mounted a sleeve 8. When the sleeve is moved along the stem, for example by a nut 13, projections 12 on the sleeve bear against and close the jaws. For ready disconnexion, the sleeve may be rotated to bring recesses hetween the projections 12 into line with the jaws, allowing the jaws to be opened.
