Clamps.-A clamp for holding taps and pipes while the joints are being soldered is preferably formed as a ring A, having cranked bends B, B' and a flattened part in which works a screw L. Straps C and thumb-screws D euable a pipe laid across the ring to be firmly clamped in the bends. The part to be soldered to the tube is then held in position by the radial screw L. The ring may be of any shape, and for convenience in carrying may be made in two parts, hinged together.
