Stamp cases; boxes made from special blanks; boxes formed of separate bodies combined side by side; contents, delivering.-Packets of interfolded postage and insurance stamps, labels, &c. are enclosed in cases or receptacles having a mouth through which the contents may be withdrawn singly. The case may be made from a blank, the sides a, Fig. 1, of which are bent under the stamps, while the sides b are bent under to engage a ribbon or strip of material serving to secure a number of cases together. Slits s allow the edges of the slot d to be turned up. The stamps are covered by a blank having a tab, by which it may be removed. In a larger box, a spring or plunger may be provided to force the stamps upwards, and the stamps may be contained in a holder h, Fig. 13, sliding in an outer case w, a spring clip q engaging notches or holes u to prevent accidental removal of the holder. In another form, a false bottom x, Fig. 16, is held in any desired position by arms y engaging a serrated slot z. The upper sides of the receptacle adjacent to the slot may be sloped upwards.
