[Addition to 1010/12.] Counters affording several rates of actuation. -An electric meter with two trains d, e, for registering the current supplied for power purposes alone, or for power and lighting together, has a change-wheel arranged to connect either of the trains with the meter spindle, and operated when the lighting - circuit is closed or opened. As shown, the change-wheel is carried by a lever h forming the armature of an electro-magnet f, which is energized when the lighting-circuit a is closed by means of a switch g.
