Jackets and covers; metallic spring bodies and cores.-Steel springs 1, interwoven as shown in Fig. 1, are formed with interlocking ends 2, 3 alternating along each edge of the tyre. This structure is embedded in rubber &c. to which inner,and outer fabric layers 9, 10 and rubber &c. layers 11, 12 are applied.
