Cartridge - loading machines. - Relates to bulleting - devices, and consists in conveying bullets which fall from a row of delivery hoppers into a row of retaining-hoppers, vertically below the delivery hoppers, and then pushing them into a row of cartridge cases. A rising and falling bridge, provided with a slide 144 having alternate tubes 142 and stamps 143, is disposed under a row of hoppers 133 and above a row of hoppers 149. In one position of the slide the tubes are in line with the hoppers and allow a row of projectiles to fall into the hoppers 149 where they are held by spring stops 152. In the other position the stamps 143 come over the hoppers 149 and, on the bridges being lowered, the spring - pressed hoppers 149 clamp the cartridge cases while the stamps 143 insert the projectiles.
