28,397. Ellison, T. G. Dec. 16. Heating by circulation of fluids.-Relates to a distributing header or tank for hot-water heating-systems, and to the pipes entering it. The upper end of the flow-pipe D is contracted. as shown, or formed with a double cone. This is construction induces formation of steam in the pipe and thus accelerates the circulation. A baffle F is fixed over the end of the pipe D. The distributing - pipes C are formed with conical mouthpieces A, which may be corrugated as shown in Fig. 2. The tank B is widened as shown, to allow of expansion, and is provided with an overflow pipe H, fitted with an automatic relief valve. A vent - pipe G is also provided.
