27,844. Lerche, J. Dec. 11. Tickets, issuing.-Strip-ticket issuing-apparatus is fitted with means for enabling a number of tickets to be withdrawn quickly and correctly. For this purpose a scale is provided for positioning the manual or mechanical grasp of the ticket, after which a withdrawal stroke up to a limiting stop is made, and the requisite number of stamps is in position for tearing-off by continuing the movement. A lever g, Fig. 2, has a slide c which is thrust by a pinch-lever r into engagement with studs n on a drum h having pins to engage the perforations in the strip. A scale d gives the correct setting for the lever. In another form a simple pawl on the lever g engages directly the perforations in the strip, which is guided over a curved plate inside the scale. In another form the strip is guided through a graduated slotted channel, the strip being grasped manually and drawn till arrested by the end of the slot. The channel may be open and provided with a gripping- lever k, Fig. 7, when the finger strikes a lever l pivoted at the end of the channel. Instead of a special lever, a pivoted lower side y, Fig. 10, may be fitted to the guiding channel which releases catch pawls z to engage perforations in and arrest the strip when the finger slips off the side y at the end of the stroke. Instead of releasing catches for the stamp strip, a catch may be released for a drum over which the strip is led, and having pins to engage the perforations in the strip.
