Incandescent gas burners. - In an inverted incandescent lamp in which the outlet for the combustion gases is provided on one side of a cap 6, and the inlets for the internal air supply are provided on the opposite side of a second cap 5 surmounting the first cap, the inlet and outlet apertures are formed bv cutting away one half of each cap. Wire gauze 10, perforated sheet-iron, or the like is preferably enlarged in the burner tube. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 15,776/07.
