Fair-leads; guide-pulleys.-Comprises a fairlead in which two series of balls i, j are arranged around the fixed pin c between this and a revolving sheave d, and abut against a collar arranged on the pin between the two series of balls, and against end flanges formed on, or end covers secured to, the sheave. The pin is made integral with, or separate from, a base support b. The collar may be screwed on the pin so as to be readily detachable. One or both flanges e may be omitted and the bearing taken by the end cover or covers g.
