19,577. Fairweather, W., [Dynamit Akt.- Ges. vorm. Nobel & Co., A.]. Sept. 2. Explosives.-Consists in mixing a quantity of an explosive such as trinitrotoluene in the crystalline form with a quantity of the same explosive in a powdered form obtained by solidifying the molten explosive free from air, and grinding it in the dry state. The mixture is compressed and forms a compound charge in which detonation is more easily transmitted.
