17,816. Wilde, R. G., and Cohn, J. Oct. 13. Catamenial appliances are formed of several folds or thicknesses of knitted fabric united only at the ends. One or both of the longitudinal edges is left free to allow access to the several folds or thicknesses. The ends 2 of the bandage may be more closely knitted than the central portion 1 and the folds may be connected by interengaging loops 3, 4, Fig. 1, or by stitching, or may be knitted together as shown in Fig. 4. The bandage is suspended from a knitted waist-belt. Specification 4271/10 is referred to.
