Tyre attachments to rims.-In a two-part rim, the main part a, Fig. 1, is dished as shown, and is provided at its outer edge with a step a<2> and groove a' to form a seating for the detachable flange B and a retaining ring or band C respectively. The band C may be formed of hinged sections carrying at the free ends pins c, Fig. 2, passing through holes in the bottom of the groove a<3>, or into sockets formed thereon, and held by means of a piece of wire or a split pin c<1> which bears either directly against the rim or spring washers c<2>. The sections of the band C may be independent, each being provided with a pin c at each end.
