Rotary cylindrical valves. - In an internalcombustion or other engine having forced lubrication the oil is distributed by means of a transverse passage F in a rotary shaft C. Oil is pumped to a groove D in a bearing B and is successively delivered through the passage F, a number of pipes E leading to the bearings to be lubricated. By this arrangement, each bearing receives oil at high pressure and is flushed so that grit or foreign matter is removed.
