6615. Schutte, W. May 3. Channels and reservoirs in valves.-A rotary cylindrical valve for internalcombustion engines is lubricated from a chamber 40 in the casing through ports 42 which supply oil to longitudinal grooves in the valve as it rotates. The lubricant is fed under pressure.
