Sighting-devices.-Consists in the provision of improved means for utilizing the angular or longitudinal displacement of a refracting- medium such as glass to adjust the sighting- line for range or deflection, described as applied to a sighting-device for guns. A lens may be arranged to move about both a horizontal and a vertical axis, the sighting-index being on the lens or separate therefrom, or a prism A, Fig. 1, may be moved by a rack and pinion E, D towards, or away from, an aperture I, the scale K being graduated as a range scale. Different prisms may be provided for different ranges. Specification 5558/10, [Class 119, Small-arms], is referred to.
