Shuttles.-The pivoted holder C carrying a detachable shuttle peg A is provided with a slot K, in which slides a hollow piece F carrying a catch N having a lip adapted to engage a notch B in the peg. A spring H engages recesses G, G<1> in the piece F and holder C, so that the peg is yieldingly held in position, to prevent sloughing of the weft. To remove the peg, it is raised into the position shown, thus raising the notch B in the peg A free from the catch N.
