Seals.-A cordage seal consists of two cylindrical sockets 1, 2 which are fitted together by hand pressure so that the edge of the outer socket projects above the bottom of the inner socket. The outer socket 1 is provided with holes 3 for the string 4, and, if desired, with a protuberance to carry a label, while the inner socket 2 is provided with teeth 5 which are crushed against the socket 1 when the parts are pressed together. The Specification as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a) comprises also the provision of a pad in the outer socket to be engaged by the teeth of the inner socket, triangular, square, or other shaped sockets, and the provision of holes for the string in the bottom instead of the side of the outer socket.
