Spring wheels with sectional outer guided members.-Spring wheels of the kind in which spring-supported slotted blocks A carrying a continuous india-rubber tyre. B are guided radially between side plates C stayed by bolts passing through the slots, are characterized by a cushion consisting of plate-spring laminations D riveted together and supported on radial helical springs E. The ends of one compound plate spring are slotted at F and engage a stud G with a nut H fixed to the adjacent end of one member of the next spring. The other member I bears on the slotted ends. Spacing-sleeves K surround the bolts.
