Capillary-action l u b r i c a t o r s; by solid or semisolid lubricants.- A lubricator for the journals of the drawing - rollers of wet spinning - machines comprises an opentopped receptacle a of curved wedge shape, with an open side a<1> fitting against the journal b<1>. Solid or semi-solid lubricant, or cotton &c. saturated with oil is placed in the receptacle so as to bear against the journal. The receptacle may be adjustably secured by a screw c to the reaching-screw block d.
