Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and metal springs other than helical a n d volute springs. - Wheels of the kind in which spring spokes such as c secured to the hub and connected to the rim by links so as to bend transversely to the plane of the wheel are characterized by connecting the links to rings h suspended from the rim f by short spokes or ties g. The link - joints are fitted with knife-edge blocks m to provide universal motion. A rigid ring o secured to the hub by wire spokes limits the movement of the spring spokes.
