3162. Lindblom, H. March 10. Float valves.- The float G of a carburettor is guided by a hollow stalk B secured to the base of the float - chamber by a flange b<4> and nut b<5>. The float, as regards lateral movement, is independent of the valve spindle F, which it actuates through levers E. The fulcra d<1> of these levers are carried by a sleeve D which serves as a guide for the spindle F.
