Metallic spring bodies and cores; tyre attachments to rims.- Helical springs B extending from the hub are secured to the inside of a spring metal rim C, to the outside of which a solid rubber tyre is secured. The heads of bolts E passing through the rim are fitted with soft collars e which fit into the springs. The shanks of the bolts are screwed and project into the tyre, which is secured by long conical nuts. The inner surface of the tyre is undulatory, the outer surface is fitted with wire staples d<2> to prevent slipping: The springs converge from both ends of the hub, and are arranged in radial grooves g in two disks G formed also with side flanges supporting the tyre.
