Drums.-In a centrifugal cream-separator, a downwardly-directed flange 5 rotating with the drum 2 is arranged so as to form a spreading surface for the blue milk issuing from the outlet slot 6. The flange may be cylindrical in shape or may be of other form, and is preferably formed on the nut 4 which screws upon the inlet pipe 1. Specification 2942/08 is referred to.
