29,387. Kruse, J. S. Dec. 17. Plastic compositions containing oxychlorides. -An enamel-like composition is made from preferably 3 parts of calcined magnesia, 4 parts of saturated solution of magnesium chloride, and 1 part of a 25 per cent alcoholic solution of shellac or other gum with or without lavender oil. Flint, coloured sands, mica, metal, &c. may be added to the bulk or to the surface only. The composition may be used for artistic tiles, panels, fine art work, mosaics, cloissonne work. and as a cement. It may be applied to or inlaid in wood, metal, stone, glass, ivory, earthenware, leather, &c. Specification 8024/05 is referred to.
