[Addition to 11,337/10.] Gearing for stopping and starting machinery. -Relates to operating-gear for double - acting cone clutches of the kind described in the parent Specification. The two cones are operated by toggle-levers o, p, Fig. 1, the joint b of which is connected by a link w to a fixed support x, and is operated from the pedal lever by a link r. As shown in Fig. 3, the lever o is prolonged beyond the joint, and is connected at its end to the operating-link r.
