Golf clubs.-The wooden head of a golf club is so weighted that the centre of mass of the club head is substantially i n line with the shaft, by attaching within a recess in the sole a heavy metal bar or plate a extending from the toe to the heel of the club. The bar diminishes in width from heel to toe, or it may cover the whole sole. In a modification, one end of the bar is shaped to form a socket, and in a further modification the thickness of the bar is increased from front to rear. Specifications 5994/06, 2309/08, and 12,051/10 are referred to.
