[Cognate Application, 14,498/11.] Planes, arrangement and construction of; steering.-The main planes of a machine a, b, c, Fig. 3, form a closed frame with cut-away portions at m, Fig. 1. The planes on each side form a dihedral angle. The upper plane extends before and behind at f, g beyond the lower planes. The upper planes may be combined so as to form tips h, j inclined rearwards and upwards, and these tips have fixed extensions k, l, k<1>, l<1>. A fixed tail comprises portions o forming a dihedral angle and carrying horizontal tips o<1> and a fixed vertical plane n, which may carry a rudder. Hinged portions s, t may be adjusted to act as elevators.
