[Addition to 1717/10.] Three-colour apparatus. - In the projectionapparatus described in the parent Specification, the prisms arranged in front of the condenser to effect a simultaneous exposure of a number of consecutive pictures of the film are replaced by a single divergent lens in conjunction with further lenses between it and the film. In one example, the divergent lens is a concave cylinder lens m and is situated in front of the condenser l. Three plano-convex cylinder lenses b<1>, b<2>, b<3> are arranged between the lens m and the film a. The outer lenses b<1>, b<3> are half-lenses, and the rays passing through them are projected on the mirrors or prisms p, and thence to the objective o. In a modification, the three lenses are replaced by a single lens of a single plate of glass, the central part of which is plane and the edges of which are cut so that the light rays passing through the film intersect in the centre line of the objective.
