Multiple-indication apparatus.-Relates to computing weighing-apparatus, and consists in arranging the computing board, drum, or the like to move automatically in the direction of the columns of figures when the balance is loaded, and in making the board &c. adjustable crossways of the columns so as to display a single total-cost designation through a small sight-hole. In a modification, the sight-hole is adjustable crossways. As embodied in the spring balance shown in Fig. 1, the pan-supporting rod carries a computing chart adapted to be read through a sight-hole 13, which is carried by an arm 12 slidable along a stationary price-per-unit weight scale 10. One or more pointers 14 on the chart indicate weights on a scale 15. Instead of a sliding sight-hole, a fixed sight-hole in a front plate may be used, the chart being movable laterally. In a modification, shown in Fig. 2, a computing-drum 16, viewed through a hole 13, moves axially under the influence of the load and is rotated by means of a disk 25 carrying a pointer 27 co-operating with a price-per-unit weight scale on the casing. The weight is read on a graduated strip 29 through a sight-hole 19.
