Composite springs.-Relates to seat pillars for cycles &c. in which the stem portions A, D are connected together by a cee or similar circular spring C, and consists in arranging a spring E directly between the stem portions. The spring E may be retained in place by a rod passing through it and engaging one or both stem parts. The cee-spring may be replaced by a helical, spiral, or other circular form of spring with any number of coils.
