The movement of the screwed boss b may be limited by a blank part b<1> or enlargement at its inner end, or by a pin or screw on the tube c engaging the outer end of the screw-boss b or, when the screwed boss b, and the extension e are of the same diameter, with a groove or elongated slot in the boss. The pin a may work in a slot or aperture in the sliding cylindrical part of the regulator, and several needles may be swivelled by a screw-thread connexion to the cylindrical part of the regulator. The operating-head h may be provided with insulating- material.
