Tyre - inflating valves. - A dustcap for tyre - inflating valves, which simultaneously closes the valve nozzle and encloses in a dusttight manner the valve stem or casing, comprises a cap b which encloses a spring- pressed pad d, e and is applied over the cylindrical part a<1> of a screw-nut a specially provided on the valve stem. The cap is secured in place, as shown, by a hinged wire loop f. In modifications, the cap is secured to the nut a by bayonet-joint connexions, interrupted screw-threads, or, as shown in Fig. 12, by a wire toggle fastening F.
