Abstract
18,095. Bosch, R., [Firm of]. Oct. 15, 1909, [Convention date]. Magneto - electric machines for ignition in internal - combustion engines. The end plates are held in place by bolts arranged within the outer profile of the machine as determined by the magnet and base-plate. If there are three bolts, they are arranged either as shown in Fig. 3 at C, D<1>, D<2>, or as shown in Fig. 5 at C<1>, C<2>, D. If there is no space between the magnet and base-plate, bolts H1, H2 placed in recesses in the base-plate, replace the bolts D1, D2. In the case when only two bolts are used, they are both placed on the vertical axis, the lower one being situated in a groove in the base-plate as in Fig. 5. A spring G, pressing against the upper bolt, may be provided to retain the dust-cover F.
