Abstract
16,683. Wilson, I. O. July 13. Metallic spring bodies and cores.-An elastic tyre comprises metallic spring strips 5 bent into circular form with their overlapping ends secured by bolts 6 to an annular rib 4 formed in the wheel rim, against the outwardly-extending flanges 9 of which the strips 5 bear. Two or more strips separated by lubricated fabric 7 may be arranged concentrically. The tyre is enclosed by a cover 10, the edges of which are gripped between the felloes and side flanges 12.
