15,998. Mallett, J., and Vigurs, A. July 5. Belts.-A V-belt comprises a series of non- slipping blocks arranged alternately on opposite sides of the belt, each block being shaped as a half-V. The blocks may be connected together by a screw and nut, the end of the screw being preferably riveted over, or by a screw g engaging a tapped bush h in the opposite link, or by a rivet passing through a bush c in each of the blocks.
